This hybrid event is part of a new year-long working group and Dialogue series, entitled Military Veterans’ Stories of Belonging, Transition, and Higher Education: Bridging the Civilian-Military Divide. The project is generously funded by Syracuse University’s Central New York Humanities Corridor from an award by the Mellon Foundation.
This year, we convene six Dialogues, throughout the academic year, about military veterans in higher education—with emphasis on student voices, journeys, and faculty and practitioner expertise on veteran’s issues. The Dialogue series is a collaboration with our corridor partners at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Lemoyne College.
Our focus this month is on military veterans’ stories of belonging.
